About
I'm a Senior Software Engineer at Reach Group in Abu Dhabi with 8+ years of experience building web platforms end to end — frontend, backend, infrastructure and everything between. My core stack is the MERN ecosystem (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) extended with Next.js, NestJS, React Native and AWS serverless.
I've shipped software at every scale: TAMM, the Abu Dhabi Government's unified services platform used by millions of residents; fintech remittance platforms; CRMs; marketplaces; and mobile apps. Earlier in my career I also built Unity 3D games, including accessible games for visually impaired children.
Over the last two years I've focused heavily on applied AI: large language models, embeddings, vector databases and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). The AI assistant on this site is one I built myself that answers questions about my career from my own knowledge base. I believe the most valuable engineers today are the ones who can take AI from a demo to a reliable production system, and that's exactly what I do.
